What kind of homecare do you want to do? Nursing care or home aid service. The process for both is involved and you have to be willing to do alot of paperwork (to start, to document and filing for payments). Speaking as a former home health nurse, I would go with only personal assistance care (driving, cleaning, sitting, bathing etc.) This type of care is less involved in the medicare world which is boggling to say the least, yet you can still take patients with long term care insurance–those usually pay well. Try to go to the nursing or medical licensing websites of CA and see if they have anything.
This is a great website. Please contact her she will help you get started.
